About Us

The NY Tibetan Service Center (NYTSC) is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Tibetan, Himalayan, and other immigrant families in New York City—many of whom are refugees or from marginalized backgrounds.

We provide educational programs, social services, and cultural classes that support academic success, economic stability, and cultural preservation. Acting as a bridge between city agencies and local families, we advocate for equitable access to resources, opportunities, and essential services.

Rooted in compassion and community, NYTSC works to ensure that every individual we serve can thrive, adapt, and build a meaningful life in their new home while staying connected to their cultural heritage.
